Occupational Health & Safety

In June of 2001, new Occupational Health & Safety laws were introduced within New South Wales by the Work Cover Authority. This has made employers and employees more accountable to ensure that they either provide a safe workplace. Failure to provide such would result in severe penalties (fines) being imposed and perhaps imprisonment if the offence is serious enough.

Milne Alexander has access to an independent Occupational Health & Safety consultant whose role will be to ensure that client’s needs regarding this sometimes scary legislation are being met.
